Dr. Sarah Yousuff earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Texas and her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch. She then completed her residency in Anesthesiology at the University of Washington.
Following this, Dr. Yousuff served as Chief of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine at Southwest Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. She later worked for NASA serving as the Medical Operations Mission Support Physician in Star City, Russia, supporting astronauts training for the International Space Station.
Dr. Yousuff has worked in an academic capacity as well, serving as Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology and Director of the Pain Management Center at the University of Louisville.
After working in anesthesiology and pain management for many years, Dr. Yousuff has turned her attention to wellness and preventative medicine.
Dr. Yousuff and Dr. Neal Taub created the Charlotte Ketamine Center in 2015 which focused on the novel use of the anesthetic ketamine to address treatment-resistant mood disorders and chronic neuropathic pain. She has administered over 1500 ketamine treatments. In 2020, Dr. Yousuff left the CKC to devote more time to her practice at Evolve.
Dr. Sarah Yousuff is Board Certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine and is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiology, American Society of Ketamine Physicians and Worldlink Medical BHRT.
