Dr. Donald Sudy earned both his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Washington in Seattle. After graduating from medical school, Dr. Sudy served as a Flight Surgeon in the Air Force and was involved in the establishment of the Health and Wellness Center on base as well as serving as Chief of Flight Medicine.
Following active duty, Dr. Sudy completed an Emergency Medicine residency at the University of Louisville, where he served as Chief Resident his senior year. Upon completing his residency, Dr. Sudy worked as an ER doctor, where he began to realize that there was a need to teach patients proactive rather than reactive healthcare. This prompted Dr. Sudy to pursue additional training in wellness services, and he made the natural transition into an aesthetic physician.
From there, Dr. Sudy opened Evolve Medical Associates in Charlotte in 2005, at a time when medical spas and wellness centers were just starting to come into being. He dedicates his practice to cosmetic medicine and wellness services, utilizing results-oriented, proven, and safe procedures.
Highly trained in laser treatments, including laser hair removal, cosmetic laser surgery, and vein therapy, Dr. Sudy conducts these services utilizing minimally invasive techniques. He is also experienced with several other cosmetic procedures, including fillers and MINT™ PDO thread lifts, which require an expert hand in order to ensure safety and results.
Dr. Sudy is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, the American Society of Liposuction Surgery, and is a Fellow of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. He has been featured several times on Fox Charlotte and has written numerous articles for magazines and online publications to educate others on wellness and aesthetic treatments.
